IMO desktop is not nearfield.  The desktop allows reflections off the desktop. I am thinking about putting together a conventional set up that would be just for those occasions when distance was a key factor. Figure I'll throw either metal or poppers (possibly pencils). Appreciate the input. Googled CTS rods and got some info. Have two of the AFAW uptide blanks. Excellent rods! Same for the pro rocket, have 2 of the 6501 and one 5501. Definitely some good casting reels. Jigman

LOL...yea it sound funny... , but i meant if i do a roller system set-up. ill most likely never have a failure with the rocker system, that the conventional set-up. ie.. lifters, rods, cam etc, since there is more chance of break-down.?...well thats what im figuring... i know there will always be detonation problems, etc. BUT yea.im probably doing the roller cam set-up. BTW the humor id...
