I have continous sparking on the large right front burner (and other three if i have the caps on them) after spilling some water on the control knob. Do i need to replace the switch harness, which you don't seem to have.

Hi, I have a 1994 f-250 7.3 I.D.I and can anyone tell me if they have had trouble with their heater control knob turning completely to hot? My knob doesn't seem to turn far enough to get hot air. I only get warm air. I checked the cable behind the glove box and it looks like it is moving it's full travel. Did ford have problems with this and how difficult would it be to correct. Thanks for any ...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m83ctF1LzNA Just noticed it today, not sure how long it has been doing it. It basically won't stay all the way to the left/coldest setting, and it snaps back up. Anyone else ever have this issue, and Is this a quick fix? Its probably not a huge deal but something I would like to address.

Hey all, I have a 99 Sport w/o AC and i recently noticed a loss of power to the fan blower control knob. It has been coming on full blast at randm intervals lately but that us it. I am guessing it has shorted out from all my summers getting caught in the rain with no top on, I took off the panel and it seems that the wires have melted behind just that one conrol knob. So I am assuming I ...

just like the title says, a/c will work and high a/c and the heat works but the dial that directs the heat to the vents towards your face and feet or even defrost doesn't work, it's just always going out the vents at your face...., the other knob/dial works that controls the heat and cool and so does the 1-4 knob, just not the 3rd knob for where you want the heat/ac direct4ed ....get it? any ...

I have a 2000 Durango with about 160K miles. Since I live in CA I haven't needed to turn the heat on in many months, and this AM I tried to turn the heat on but my temperature control knob is now stuck. Well, it will move a little, but when I let go of it it just springs back to the starting position. It definitely feels like whatever it's attached to is not moving at all. ...

Pull the temperature and air direction knobs off. There is a screw under each knob. Remove them. There are six fitting clips holding the trim panel on. Remove them with a screwdriver. Then you can remove the trim panel covering the control. Im not sure what you can see but there are three cables attched to the control. The direction cable is on the right and is short in lenth. If you need more ...

Thank you for the diagram. My daughter in college really thanks you. I located the actuator and poked the *&)( out of it with a screw driver and the heat started working. I took the control knob out of the car so it cannot ever be turned to the cool side anymore. The highs have been in the 40's and the lows in the teens this week. Again, I thank you for the diagram.

As above , the duovalve is the most likely culprit , although there is an electric pump in the heater circuit , located just beside the duovalve , under the ABS control unit , which can cause poor water circulation if it fails . Panel should light up as below Correct lamps readily and cheaply available from dealers - they used to sell 'frosted' lamps , but now ...

+1 any local dealership will have the parts. If just high works think resistor. if they randomly work, or you can push, pull pry the switch to make different speeds work its likely the switch. Even if you buy both you'll be out 40 bucks. __________________ XBOX LIVE GAMERTAG: BenRN
