I downloaded this update sp26629.exe from this page http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/genericSoftware DownloadIndex?lc=en&cc=us&softwareitem=pv-39118-1 and everything on my desktop changed so I thought I did something wrong. I did a restore in Safe Mode (tried several restores) and everytime my system reboots, it get's as far as the Microsoft XP screen and before it gets to the welcome login...

I have never dropped or hit my laptop on anything...Recently, last night actually, my whole screen turned blue with little lines vertically.
