Replying to: compulsive thoughts Hi Sonnydays...I am confused by your first post on December 9, 2009 and your follow up 2 days later on December 11, 2009. Are you the same poster in both posts? This board is more about people struggling with the debts they have caused by what life has thrown at them, not really many compulsive shoppers here. Maybe doing an article on how people are getting hit no matter how hard they are working to pay down debt might be better. The banks that took all the bailout money are now hiking interest rates on people or cutting credit limits, regardless...

For Today "The highest point a man can attain is not Knowledge, or Virtue, or Goodness, or Victory, but something even greater, more heroic and more despairing: Sacred Awe!" New to this message board. Came here to talk about WW and my compulsive overeating set off by trigger foods, but I see you say "don't mention specific foods here...there's a place elsewhere for that". Could you point me in the direction of which WW board allows us to get support when we want to talk about the problem of compulsive overeating set off by ...

There is an OA pamphlet, "Before you take that first compulsive bite," that is helpful in not getting into that cycle. We talked about the cycle of emotional eating in my WW meeting,...

Now I get to learn how to deal with life on its own terms. Would I even be here today if I had not used the ...
