I have now read what citymj has to say about comparators. So let me tell the story of the man who went into a cake shop. A man went into a cake shop, and he said to the baker 'I would like you to make me a cake that is a model of the Houses of Parliament'. And he handed over an aerial photograph. 'Very good, sir' said the baker 'I'll have it done in a week's time' The man returned the ...

I am acquiring reloading equipment (never reloaded before), and am struggling to understand bullet comparators and how they are used. This is one of those things for which a video would be a huge help. If I understand the process, one uses the Hornandy OAL tool with the proper Hornandy special case and your bullet to determine the distance from the cartridge base to the bullet ogive. ...

Hello, I would like to know the reference (or the number) of a standard which explains the rules of calibration for the mechanical comparators. Does this standard exist? I read the standard ISO 463 but it doesn't mention any information about the rules of calibration. , Pierre

Now asking a question like this is probably dumb and shouldn't be asked at a "level" of comparators, but I'm also taking another programming class, the teacher said something, and now I'm all messed up. Take account this sample code: public class CompHigh implements Comparator{ ....public in compare(DayW o1, DayW o2) { ............if(o1.getHigh() > o2.getHigh()) ...................return 1; ...

I am trying to count records based on multiple criteria in the report footer in an unbound text box. I get an error that the expression is too complicated. Please advise Sum(IIF([txtField1] = "value1" And [txtField2] = "value2",1,0)) Sum(IIF([txtField1] = "value1" Or [txtField2] = "value2" And [txtField3] ="value3",1,0)) I realize this may be able to be done in another way, but I am ...

The new Seated Half Register by Bill Bugert suggests having a stereomicroscope and/or optical comparator. Can anyone help me with brands, models, features, etc.

My problem is the following: I have a class (Test) that has 2 strings and I want to sort them using a treeset. I want to be able to order them by the first and the second string. To order them using the first one is easy, but how do I 'force' the treeset to use the other compareto (in the example compareToSecondString) so I can order by the second string? SortedSet testjes = Collections....

I'm looking for a schematic of a microprocessor on the web. Basically I want to just look more into computer archiecture and I can't seem to find any thing. I'm really looking for a broken down view of a microprocessor into different blocks each with functions (adders, comparators, pll, power...etc) thanks.

Morning All SSE have released their interims this morning.... http://www.investegate.co.uk/Article.aspx?id=20091 1110700093... They look reasonable on a first glance from someone like me that doesn't follow the company. Well ahead of last year's numbers even though they were particularly weak comparators. Dividend up 6% and nearly 7% annualised yield on this morning's falls to about ...

Jay of Idaho, I am going to assume I have the luxury of disagreeing. I can not help you with the techniques that work for you, if there are other options please it is not about disagreeing, it is about other options. If I understand you correctly "I like to make a "gizzy" or chamber gage that has the neck are opened up .025-.030 larger than the neck size of the chamber" the 'Gizzy" would ...

Get with the plan, Richas. Sure but which plan? If the EMAG document actually backed the flexible option in the main text not buried in the tw contradictory appendices it would be easer. If the headline report of the meeting said a bit more than that EMAG said they don't want Chadwick to do his job it might be easier to assess how worthwhile that meeting was. Is the plan to back ...

jverd wrote: Either we're inconsistent with equals(), and violate Set's contract, or provide behavior that, while following the letter of the docs, isn't what we really want. Definitely. I've been trying to come up with an implementation that would get you a bit closer, but only ended up with another (albeit looser) restriction on your comparator. Still a restriction, so what's the ...

Hi. I built the async branch of your tree and tested it, also running 2.6.33-rc1 + TuxOnIce for comparison. Dmesg for both are attached. Is there anything I can/should be doing for you on top of this? I'll try Dmitry's patch on top of this a little later - other things to do first. I noticed that you were doing standard deviations in your stats - how many runs were you basing them on? ...

More BS: a material particle in relative motion, is equivalent to a material state in the machine-space of the Rubik group. When the slice function "goes nuts" and N gets large the permutation maps absorb large amounts of memory; the information volume increases according to a geometrical function in N, and 4 and 5 dimensions of information exist; ...
