Yes I am happy to be eating comfort food. :D Turkey burger with LF cheese on Arnolds, roasted potato "fries" and sauteed zuchinni. It was a suckfest of a day, folks.

What is it about toasted bagels and philadelphia cream cheese (I've taken to the whipped variety lately, easier to spread.) Just makes all my troubles melt away. Surely there must be other such magical foods?

Hi everyone Are you feeling nervous about the winter and what inevitably comes hand in hand....comfort eating & stodgy foods! Out with the fresh fruit and healthy salads and in with the lamb stews and hearty hot puds. No more walking/cycling because of the wind and rain! The 2 combined has to equal a bit of weight gain.....dont you reckon?

Has anyone made the red velvet cake in the comfort food recipe book? I made it tonight and the icing just seemed alittle runny. Just wondering if anyone else had problems with the icing. Also hoping that it taste good cuz I love the 1pt red velvet bars.

Hi, My Mom made creamed tuna on toast. I had totally forgotten this until your last comment. I remember liking it quite a bit. I'd race to eat it while the toast was still crisp. Stouffer's frozen chipped beef over English muffins and scrambled eggs.
