So Ive been messing around Eye one match lately. Trying Native white point vs 6500k.. Both seem to give me different gamma curves and yield 6500k. The 6500k calibration seems better. Native seems more green in the whites. But both give a resulting temp of 6500k. Does this mean there is something off with the software? Shouldn't they look the same?

As of 3.3, WoW resets my Macbook Pro's color calibration when it loads. I then have to go to system settings > display preferences > color to change it back. I don't know if this just has to do with the gamma setting (I run WoW in windowed mode, so my desktop gamma should stay the same), but this never happened until patch 3.3

Has anyone done color calibration on this thing, and want to share their settings? I came from an IPS on a X41T, so in short, it's awful. Biggest gripe right now is the poor contrast ratio and the blue-tinted whites, but a full calibration would be excellent.

I have a Mac Pro, CS4, Samsung LCD monitor, calibrate it with an Eye1 xrite Pro, and an Epson R2400 printer. I have been on the phone with Adobe, Epson, and Apple and no one can seem to help me match my screen image to my print in terms of color. Can someone who has had success with these products and are able to closely match the colors/brightness they see on their screen with their prints ...

Help, I've been through many inexpensive colorimeters for my laptop, all have proved useless by producing a terrible color cast. I started getting work, so I had to do some WHCC test prints with just my laptop display's default LCD profile--the results were not bad. (the images I sent them for tests were very, very colorful and punchy, but later prints I ordered from them were more subdued in...

I have the Spyder Pro and a Dell U2410 and a Samsung 25" or so diplay - can't remember the model, but obviously it's a TN display. I have calibrated both using the Spyder pro and afterwards my wallpaper colors are different on each monitor. I thought that when you calibrate it would make both monitors look the same. It is very apparent in the reds on the Samsung - much more saturated looking ...

here is 6500k , left luminance the same didnt want to alter my existing calibration. Interesting results but the highlights shift towards magenta. Even tho there might be some warm tint to native. It produces much better skin tones matching calibration prints from online shops. I was digging further and drycreek and a bunch of sites recommend setting native to LCD monitors that are around ...

for those of you who will be running Eyefinity on 3 duplicate screens the Pantone HueyPro will probably be enough as it's decent at color calibration. However for those of you don't have 3 identical monitors something like the Lucie Blue eye or Eye-One Display 2 might be necessary as these calibrate luminosity in addition to color. Should have my Eye-One Display 2 in a short while so I'll ...

Drycreek and others also recommend native gamma. I do not think the eye one gives feedback as to what the native gamma is, I would like to know how close to 2.2 it is. When time permits ...

NEED HELP ON CMS settings! I have the Eye One LT, along with an LG 60PS60 plasma. It has ISF capabilities to alter primary and secondary tint and 'color'. How do I calibrate to the correct colors of the CIE chart with this software? What dials change the x and y? Please help.
