Hey, I laid out the sidewalk in the foreground of shot #25 in the mid-90's, remembering my frustration at there not being one at that point in the late 80's as a Cornell student. I remember in the late 80's the density of Collegetown changed dramatically. I'm a little surprised to see the investment in high density residential downtown now, wondering what's driving it.

o.O you could take the shortline bus for $45 each way or like 85$ roundtrip, it starts from Port Authority in NYC and makes various stops along the way (Bing included) and then drops people off around Cornell's campus (Collegetown, North Campus, etc). Less expensive, a 5 hour ride, no snacks or anything though xD just possibly a movie.

I'm also applying to Boston University, each day I look into the school the more I like it. I've have concerns with the campus, though its began to be clear that the school owns more than five buildings. I also had concerns of meeting other people, but being within a huge collegetown with tons of other great universities or just at BU I'm starting to think it wouldn't be difficult. Another thing ...

Okay, well I know not everyone exactly want to be at Boston University though according to collegeboard.com they have a list of schools often viewed by students from x school... all across I always find Boston University high on the list, even for schools that are across the country. Factoring the city of Boston; which is often depicted as a collegetown, and also looking at so many great ...

I'm not applying ED, but I am basically doing all the same stuff that you all are doing... I super badly want to go to Cornell Hotel School.... Whenever I go on CC, I head straight for the Cornell forum. I looked up all the FWS and decided which ones I would take if I went to Cornell (I want to take this one about Shakespeare and film, or one about food!) I searched all the PE classes and...

There is plenty to do at IC. Whether there is enough to do will depend on what your daughter wants to do. The thing about Ithaca is that you will have plenty of choices: 1) outdoor life (Ithaca is Gorges, you know) 2) Ithaca Downtown (restaurants, shopping) 3) Collegetown (restaurants, bars, clubs) 4) Cornell and Ithaca campus events 5) "classical" concerts at both IC and Cornell 6...

Though this business wasn't around when I roamed the streets of Collegetown, still kinda sad to see it go.
