For reasons unknown to me, DH's company got rid of their office coffeepot, so now I get up and make him a cup each morning. However, I predict I will not be feeling much like getting up at 6 AM to make coffee once the baby is here, so I want to get him a small coffeemaker for Christmas. It only needs to make 2 - 4 cups, since he only drinks it in the morning and will be putting it in his travel ...

Still in search of the perfect cup of coffee. I found the article on America's Test Kitchen very helpful in learning about grind, beans, and makers. I am considering plunking down the bucks for one of these babies for a Christmas gift for my hubby but we don't make a full pot of coffee - we only drink 4 cups in the morning. If you own this coffee maker, does it work as well with less ...

Anyone have a fancy coffee maker thingy? I can't survive without caffeine. But I despise coffee even with those flavored creamers, and I can't get starbucks every day that's for sure. So for christmas I'm thinking of asking for a fancy coffee maker. I have a thing for lattes, mochas, and iced coffees (but have never managed to make a ...

I love my Keurig. I will never part with it. I just purchased the new cinnamon one from QVC. Haven't received it yet. My DH is taking our year old one to his office cause he loves it too. We do drink a lot of coffee and we order several boxes about every 5-6 weeks but we don't care cause we love having a fresh cup of coffee each time. -- member of the comma club...

And lastly, not good for you.....do you really want hot water filtered thru a plastic cup for you to ingest? Can you say carcinogenic? I don't mind. But I've also been thirsty and drank the bottle of water I'd left in my car on a hot day before too. What can I say, I'm a risk taker. Besides, it isn't like you are quoting studies on how bad the plastic used to make the k-cups are, so ...
