Hi, I replaced the Dell mini 10v 8.04 with 9.04 unr and promptly lost the media codecs supplied by dell. Couldn't work out how to upgrade from within ubuntu as it seemed that Dell had limited the update functions in 8.04. Also coudn't work out how to transfer the codecs separately. So wiped 8.10 with a new 9.04 unr from a memory stick. More recently I've installed 9.10 and lost wireless ...

No sound. There appears to be other audio devices on this computer, a Legacy Audio Driver- location listed as unknown. I also have a Mitsumi CD-Rom drive, if that helps. Hi, I'm an editor and I've just started a new project in a Mac OS X 10.4.11. When I got here, the computer had had a problem (I'm not sure which) and was just fixed. Someone installed Mac OS X and I installed Final Cut Studio 2 and downloaded all the updates available. So just a few questions.I'm using the ps3 slim (can bitstream dts HD) so is it best to bitstream the HD codecs or send them as PCM as my reciever is capable of decoding and displaying the codec lights. If theres a PCM track and also one of the HD codec tracks on the disc which is best? Do you always select PCM for a PCM track ,you never bitstream them?

I've had this problem for some time. Tried different formats, codecs, ect... When playing a video file, regardless of the format, the video will not play, even on ones it should play 'out of the box'. I can hear the sound fine on all the formats. The latest one was a WMV. The video and audio codec said it was WM9 encoded, audio played fine but video would not. This thing won't play ...

One of the most annoying JetAudio 7.5.5.25 bugs in windows 7 x64 is that it reduces the video quality in more than 100% screen size, subtitles are in low resolution too! i installed codecs but it didnt change anything it works well in windows 7 x86 i think it has some bugs in x64 version
