I was always told to quote a code word in my outsourcing ads to make sure the applicants actually READ the job description. You know...something like "Transcriptionist needed, must be fully fluent in English. Quote "Yoda rules" in your reply." I was also told to simply reject the ones that do not quote the requested word(s) as they simply did not follow simple instructions....

I don't have very strong thoughts either way on this topic, but I do believe that flexibility is the key in order to support our moms in the ways that she truly needs to be supported.
