I have a Conneticut Valley Arms pocket revolver in .32 caliber. I don't need it, I don't want it. The hammer won't stay cocked, I don't know why. Finish is good. Asking on behalf of a friend; What is the difference, if any, between carrying with one chambered and the pistol cocked (condition one) and carrying hammer down on an empty chamber in regards to the law? This is a smooth bore,single shot thing. Caliber unknown ,.410 shotgun slides down till rim hits beginning of barrel,.20ga is too large. Seems to be something on the order of a tranquilizer gun? Very heavy and well built. Breech pivots open but only when fully cocked. No marks on barrel or frame. Two notches for cocking and both will fire with trigger pull,no safety.Any ideas? Sorry ...
