I was coasting down a long hill at 65+mph with the clutch in and noticed that the AFRs would not stabilize as the engine idled with the clutch in. The AFRs swing wildly from 11-20 when coasting with the clutch in above about 40mph. This really doesn?t cause any drivability problems but I am curious what is causing it. I don?t recall if it happened before I installed the V7 map or not. ...

When I am driving and I coast at any speed there is a knocking in the rear. It is not related to the engine because I can rev in neutral while coasting and the knocking continues. It does knock faster when the car is moving faster. Any ideas?

Ok i was driving my a4 quattro the other day and as i shifted into second i heard a pop and then it sounded like a wire being spun around. Then my engine would run but i was just coasting into a parking lot. I had no engagement from my clutch and it would not move at all. It would start but i couldnt move in any gear. I took it to the shop and they put it on the lift and found nothing wrong ...

Heard a low grinding noise when coasting. May be there under accel, but can't hear it over the engine. Figured that it could be front wheel bearings since, when coasting, weight shifts to the front. Also thought coast-side of diff pinion/ring, but that will have to wait. Took apart the driver's side hub/knuckle and found the bearing was leaking grease, the dust excluder was playing defense ...

Some help would be very much appreciated! Driving to my inlaws on sunday, and after about 4 hours on the road, I noticed almost a studder while on cruise. It would only do it if the truck was semi-coasting, where it needed just a bit of pedal to keep the speed. It would also do it when driving with your foot. The best example, Driving down the hill to the final destination, if I gave ...

Hello All, I manage a KAV 6 enterprise with about 250 PCs / Servers. I use the Admin Kit version 6.0.1710. All of the workstations have Network Agent 6.0.1710 installed. Things have been coasting along just fine for the last several months. Last week 2 machines were replaced due to hardware failure. The new machines have the same domain names and IP addresses as the replaced machines....

750 LI with about 31k miles. Only had car four months. I have noticed a hesitation around the 35 to 45 mile per hour range when taking foot off gas, for example, when coasting down a slight hill or coming to a traffic light stop. Also, the rpm dips to below 500 intermittently causing the car to shudder a little. Couple of questions. What is the normal idle rpm and is the hesitation normal....

they're going to figure out a way to miss the playoffs in the most heartbreaking way possible. They're tuning up the Dolphins this week and the Colts will be coasting next week... I would guess the Texans will take a 28 point lead on Indy and then lose with a fumble TD or something in the last minute.

It looks like the information on the Fuel Exonomy Screen (part of the NAV system) is working in reverse. Before, if we were coasting down a hill then it would show max mpg and if we accelerate the mpg goes down. Now it shows 0 mpg when coasting and if we accelerate the mpg increases. Has anyone seen this? We have a 2007 Escape 2wd with 38,000 miles and it just went out of warranty.

I know, I have a lot of questions. Can't help it, as I'm a new owner. I know variable cylinder management can deactivate 2 or 3 cylinders under light throttle conditions. The ECO light comes on quite often when I'm coasting or pressing the gas pedal lightly. Does the engine designate particular 3 cylinders to deactivate? Is it always the same cylinders, or does it rotate thru all cylinders? ...
