Saw this at the Simi Valley Town Center today with Beef Jerky.. Yay! Coachella really needs the "Tilly's" crowd. Actually they have some decent stuff, but got a bunch of retarded bro shit too.

None of my friends like Coachella type music, and the ones that do can't make it to the festival. Is it easy to make new friends, or at least find groups of people to hang out with at Coachella? Any tips for doing this?

I want to chill out to some Cat Stevens at Coachella He's doing a bit of touring at the moment. I think he's one of the most underrated artists of that era. Teaser and the Firecat, Tea for the Tillerman...two absolutely perfect albums. Be cool to have him on the outdoor stage.

Waters will most likely be touring the U.S. in 2010 with the original Wall tour, the largest tour in the history of music. Could Coachella be a stop? We will see. For those not in the know, the original Wall tour changed how we see rock concerts - it's incredibly revolutionary. See the 1980 NYT review: Quote: The 'Wall' show remains a milestone in rock ...

Unfortunately, Ultravox is touring Europe at the same time as Coachella 2010. The Specials are touring England this month and could be easily had for Coachella. Other reunited groups recently touring Europe include Orchestral Manouvres in the Dark (OMD) and Simple Minds. James and The Lightning Seeds have played fairly recently in England and could come here with the right offer. Echo and the...

Looks like Massive Attack are finally releasing a new album. They have it announced with a track listing on their website. Some of the tunes were already on the "Splitting the Atom" EP. It's out Feb. 8, 2010. I'm excited. Im hoping for a headlining spot at Coachella this year, or at least a US tour. My mistake, the album is called "Heligoland". I got a bit excited.

Let's get some 70's prog rock in there. I vote for either Rush or Peter Gabriel (or Genesis) as a headliner and King Crimson as a subheadliner. If it wasn't for bands like these, there would be no Coachella.....let's just be honest here.
