Hi gang, I'm new here and was just browsing when I came across this section with a very familiar name. I write a monthly column that is published in 10 magazine and a number of websites. It's called, you guessed it, "Close Calls" The column started out originally sharing stories about pilots' brushes with nearby aircraft (as I have a personal interest in collision avoidance) but has ...

Least you guys are acknowledging fault when you f**k up, so many times have people broken the law and nearly wiped me out. I remember nearly punching on with someone who ran a red and nearly clipped me. Somehow him running the red and nearly sideswiping me was my fault. And so i verbal cut sick at him and let everyone within a 5km radius know my thoughts.

Nothing will get their attention faster then 3 or 4 yards of "...

I know it's long, but the least you can do is muddle through an article about the injuries and struggles our vets are having upon returning home. Our 08 archery season has ended with 3 out of 3 tags filled. Our first hunt was for my youngest son's antelope in the desert country in north western NV. We hunted 3 weekends in a row in extreme temperatures. On opening morning, 1 hour into the hunt, a nice mid 80" buck was 12 yards behind the blind. We got the shooting window situated and when Derek turned to make the shot he sat his stool...
