I've been shooting skeet and 5 stand for some time now, and just shot sporting clays for the first time. Of course, I liked it and plan on many more rounds. What chokes are best for this? I have a 12 gauge O/U, and 12 and 20 gauge autoloaders.

Shooter wins sporting clays world title By JIM MANN/Daily Inter Lake Former state Sen. Mike Taylor has emerged as the best senior sporting clay shooter in the world, recently returning with a World Cup from the 31st world championships in Australia. The championships were carried out under “FITASC” rules, the most difficult discipline in shotgun competition because shooters are required to ...

I'm working on some 9mm 147gr loads with Clays. Lyman manual says 1.9 gr start with 1.055 OAL for lead. This seems very short to me, especially with a 147gr bullet. The crimp would be up the taper of the bullet quite a bit. Anyone think it would be a problem at about 1.130 OAL? This OAL hand cycles fine in my DW PM-9 where these will be used.

Looking for the best price on Clays. I've been buying 1lb cans which is ridiculous. Prices where I live are anywhere from $16.95 to $19.99 a can. Need to save money and clays works well in the winter up here in Michigan. I know someone will say I'm lazy and get on line and search for yourself. But I also know there are many reloaders on this site and they buy clays powder all the time. ...

I'm just about to do my first .45 reload after months of reading and doing some .40 reloading on my instructor's 550. I bought a RockChucker to start and will get a 550 ASAP after spending too much time Wednesday with 100 pieces of brass, primer, and powder (Clays) and I'm about to seat the bullets. My instructor/friend left for out of state to the NE until Sunday night and I don't wish to...

Merkel does not make a sporting clays O/U gun? I have read up on their actions and they are regarded as super strong....nice looking guns too but most from what I have seen are 28" field guns. No sporters are to be found....anyone have insight as to if they will make a sporter?

Dear All My question touches how density and specific heat is defined in PetraSim. When I put density and specific heat for high porous rocks like clays, shales and others, material properties shall be typed considering dry rock, or fluid-saturated as it usually occurs ? For a porous rock it is a great difference. Thanks for all replies.

Any one tried the 2.35 Crossmarks on a 575 ? I see the new build have them on the Pro (?) kit but Nobby NIcs on the others. I ride in hardpack clays, gravels, loams, roots and sand in summer...add water at its mud.. Mostly ride XC/AM...not much jumping
