With over 90 per cent of all lots sold for a total result of nearly $1 million, the auction delivered one of the best regional auction outcomes of the year, [...] More...

Model classic car collection and display case. These are not cheap. They are from the Danbury Mint and have been collected for close to 20 years. They cost am average of $125.00 each. The doors, hood .trunks open and the steering works. They probably weigh 2 or 3 pounds each. The display case turns 360 degrees. They are mostly 1950's models and would make a great Christmas gift for the classic car ...

So my knowledge of cars is pretty limited. I can change oil and belts and an alternator if I have to but that is about it. In the next few years, I would really like to pick up a classic that needs a little bit of work. Not looking to rebuild something, maybe just a car I work on for a year or so on the weekends. So here are my questions: What is the best way to learn? Teach ...

A lot of high quality and very interesting builds. My favorite was the TJ Taxi by John Terisi. The figures were scratch built and the building played music and had flickering lights. http://public.fotki.com/djway3474/model-car-shows/ cactus-classic-2009/ Enjoy Dwayne J

I highly suggest getting a car that is 90% restored already. It's usually cheaper to buy instead of build. Everything is going to be there. You might not believe how much it costs in money and time to scrounge together all the little things that are missing or wasted on a car that "only needs a little work". It's going to be drivable and enjoyable from day one. You wouldn't ...

I had a '65 Mustang with a 170/6 and a '72 Duster with the 198/6. While the Duster was one model newer, if the Barracuda was anything like the Duster in construction there would be no comparison. The Duster was a much more substantial car, the Mustang a flimsy rustbucket in comparison. I towed a small Uhaul trailer twice (Houston-San Francisco and back) with the Duster, something I'd never ...

It should be a great warm up for the ZCON 2010 convention being held in Nashville on July 28th thru August 1st. Perhaps a short video of the ZCCR event could be send down to the ZCON convention folks for those unable to attend.

Lines were indeed long. Seemed like a lot less cars this year and even less venders. Lots of cars for sale at bottom of the barrel prices if a guy had any money right now. Plus the weather was unbeatable

I remember reading that John Cooper had a near fatal accident in a Twinni after the rear wheels started to steer in their own. Also there was a Moke Twinni, which was assessed for army use, but didn't win a contract.
