ive heard mixed things about it on the fighting game board that the d-pad isnt very good on the controller. so im just going to ask the people here who have already played it, does the classic controllers D-pad work fine? i have a gc controller but i would prefer not to use it, and i dont see a point in buying a arcade stick for just this game.

Frogger Returns claims to be able to be compatible with the classic controller, yet ... it does not work, no matter what I do. No options to activate it or anything... anyone else have this problem? I think they made it with a bug.

hi. i bought 2 controller classic that plugs directly into the wii. will i be able to play regular wii games on it or i will just play the virtual console ones? i really need to play pes on it but i cant. thanks to all

So, I'm looking to get a Classic Controller Pro by Christmas. I figure eBay is the best way to go for cheap, but I want to make sure it's legit. Is there a risk of getting a knock-off if I shop from a seller in Hong Kong? Any tips?

D-pad is better than the stick. When you get into the advanced stages of competing, you can modify the D-pad and pull off boosts whenever you want (referred to as NBT, New Boost Technique). Reverse is not in this game, and the brake button is irrelevant. You should not be using it, you should be jump-turning instead. The only problem with the old school SNES controllers is that they're fragile...

Don't buy the Wii Wand - it's a 3rd party brand, which often have compatibility issues. Get the official Official Nintendo Wii Remote Controller . You might have compatibility issues. Or buy Wii Play . Right now, Wii Play is the same price as the Wii Remote. But it's a game with a Wii Remote that's generally retail price of 49.99 - 10 bucks more than a Wii Remote's retail price.
