Clamp Champ - Topic profile

I've never owned one of these or seen one of these figures in person. A staction was released of him. I also recently read that Clamp Champ was earmarked for MYP MOTU season 3 (perhaps to replace Man-At-Arms). But I have no clue about any origin or know why he appears to have such a decent following... Does anybody have any info on this guy (any incarnation)? I tried to read the "The Search...

Clamp Champ is one of the few MOC Motu figures I have. I never wanted him when I was a child but collecting them again as an adult I was all excited to get him since he seemed more special as MOTU doesn't have that many non-caucasian characters. It'll be fun to see if MOTUC gets far enough for him to be introduced to the line

WTB: Clamp Champ In Poor Condition I'm looking for a loose Clamp Champ figure that's in poor condition as long as the head is undamaged. Paint loss is not a problem just as long as the head has no scratches or deep cuts. I can pay with PayPal. Craig

Excuse the lighting again I'm far from the first one to do this but I'm really happy with him. I went for classic colours as you can see. It would be great to have a fully functional, spring loaded, snap-closed clamp but thats a bit beyond me at this stage! I used a pair of magnets for head articulation. The skin colour isn't quite right but pretty close, I think. Let me know what you think...

is there any site with close images of the character illustrations on the card fronts (Rio-blast or Clamp Champ for example) I like the quality of the illustrations and would like to see them again.
