The pedantic circumlocutions in his post made me LOL. To tell it straight: hybrid classes are supposed to be slightly "worse" at any role than "pure" classes. I've got 2 issues with that 1- Anti-tank and Anti-heal discrimination: do we need that right now ? Are there any "pure" tanks classes ? NO. "Pure" healeur classes ? NO. So basically, the "any role" mantra is a ...

When we stood at Sinai, Gd refrained from saying "perfectly". Jesus said that. He said, as I recall, Be ye perfect, as the Father is perfect. I understand and respect that you think he is Gd so if he said it, you feel as if Gd said it. But the Torah says to avoid worshipping, as Gd, anyone with any name not sanctioned by the Torah. And the Torah gives us Gd's names that we can use....

I think your dd is telling you pretty clearly that this is the kind of praise she would like to hear. At least sometimes. Don't we all? Sure, I hear you on the crazed "good job" culture. And you've been really conscientous about avoiding it and pretty creative on the alternatives. Your dd wants to hear that she's pleased you. She want to hear it directly. Obviously this would not be "empty"...

First off, the cussing is a board rule. It's got nothing to do with us. And so taking the time and effort to circumvent the word filters just to cuss in a post is going to make you sound more aggressive than you probably mean to sound. Just something to keep in mind. Secondly, the response to aggressive criticism is the same as the response to gentle criticism: evaluate its validity and move...
