Well i have just had my letter from gastro clinic discharging me as all tests were normal. So it seems i was right and i dont have IBS but i will double check that with my doctor. I have booked in to have a chat with her about all this for the 16th dec. I will voice my concerns about this condition too and see what she thinks, fingers x she doesnt think im a hypochondriac lol!
