I don't believe the Hawks need Childress to give his approval to a trade. If he refuses to play for his new team, then they can trade his rights again. Childress might want to think long and hard about refusing to play for a new team or he will develop a reputation like Allen Iverson. Childress isn't a superstar. His value will just drop and he could remain in Europe forever. Chills has ...

http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcnorth Vikings coach Brad Childress is rapidly becoming known for his, uh, interesting choice of pregame messages. Saturday night, he showed the team video of a NASCAR team working together in pit row. Im guessing it took a few minutes for the connection to be made. I dont want to say it was strange, quarterback Brett Favre said. But guys are like, when its ...

Childress just got flat outcoached in that game. The game plane put together by Whisenhunt and his coordinators had the Vikings scrambling from the first snap. Blame physicality all you want, you just got outcoached.

Question: End of the first half. Cards have the ball at the 5 yard line or so. 13 seconds left and Minnesota has three time outs. Cards kneel on first down and everyone trots off the field. Why didnt Childress use his time outs? He could have had the Cardinals punting from their endzone with 6 seconds left. At that point -- so many things could happen, and all of them ...

Not so sure. The guy's a total deadbeat. A real flat tire. A total square! You look at previous teams that won Superbowls. Jimmy Johnson for instance. The players loved 'em! He was animated and knew how to fire up the team. What do we have? You go this way and you do that... The guy's a total downer, man!

http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcnorth Minnesota coach Brad Childress addressed two inside-football questions Wednesday, both of which have been circulating around cyberspace in recent weeks. 1. Childress admitted he has heard previous suggestions that tailback Adrian Peterson tips plays based on the direction he looks before the snap. ( Yukonjack , among many other readers, have been ...
http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcnorth Philadelphia coach Andy Reid might want to send Minnesotas Brad Childress a bouquet of flowers. Or maybe a commission. Three weeks after the Vikings extended Childress contract through the 2013 season, the Eagles did the same Wednesday for Reid. Both coaches contracts were due to expire after the 2010 season. They also have the same agent, Bob ...

Vikings coach Brad Childress said Tuesday during his weekly appearance on Sirius NFL Radio that "if all goes well" middle linebacker E.J. Henderson will return to the Twin Cities today. Childress said he talked to Henderson on Monday night. Henderson was lost for the season in the fourth quarter Sunday when he fractured the femur in his left leg in a collision with safety Jamarca ...

Childress seemed unconcerned about Westwood One analyst Tony Bosellis suggestion that left tackle Bryant McKinnies is tipping off defenders that a pass is coming. Childress agreed that McKinnie was in a two-point stance for a good bit of Sundays game at Arizona. But McKinnie, who is 6-foot-8, often uses a two-point stance in obvious passing situations to help him be in better position to ...

Michael Gearon is crazy over Mike Bibby. That's why they paid him so much money. ------------------------------------------- The owners have $$$$ Beezy. I can't figure Donte out. One minute he is praising Rick Sund for the good job he has done, and then he says Joe Smith is a BUST, Jamal Crawford is FLAWED, and Jeff Teague is RAW. If Donte doesn't approve of the players that Sund has ...
