I have a 04 Chevy TrailBlazer. In 4 wheel drive I have bad scraping noise in front when I brake. No noise when I am in 2 wheel drive. Brakes are new. Any ideas?

Upon taking off when cold I hear a knocking sound coming from engine. Does not hinder the performance of the engine, and when it warms up the sound goes away.

I have replaced the cam sensor, spark plugs, 4 coil packs, and oxygen sensor (pre-catalyst). It will run good for a few miles then it will start to misfire. What is going on?

Hey, Â I'm looking to buy a new used Trailblazer or other similar vehicle. What are you Trailblazer owners thoughts about your truck? Are you happy with it, would you recommend buying one, or would you buy something else. This will be my only four wheel vehicle I will be driving. 2005 Chevy Trailblazer,LS,V6,109,ooo Miles(Highway mileage),Silver and Black Paint,grey cloth interior,tinted windows,cd player,low profile tires and rims(also have stock tires and rims if prefered). Hah, older Civics are more expensive than you think. Great if you own one, bad if you want one. Hondas have high resale value. For a cheap runner, look into a Cavalier.

On these trucks, the misfire problem is usually the coil packs, but you already changed those. The other items that frequently lead to misfire are a dirty MAF sensor wire or low fuel pressure from a failing fuel pump, clogged fuel filter or leaking fuel pressure regulator. The first thing I'd do is run a pressure test on the fuel line. Fast and easy test you can do yourself with a fuel pressure...

Sounds like irregular tire wear on the front axle. What does the tread on the front tires look like? Is the wear pattern equal or is the inner or outer edge of the tire or tires worn differently than the rest?

guys just recently flipped 100,000 miles. I've owned since mile 4. Purchased Dec 15th 2002. 7-8 north east winters, tough driving conditions. I live in the lake effect zone south of Buffalo NY. Great Vehicle. Few issues. Salt wreaks havoc, i would recommend paying $100 every year to get the oil spray from car-well or rustop. This would have saved me a few unnessary repairs, all salt ...
