General Mills pushes case for Cheerios claim General Mills has responded to a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) letter asking for more evidence to support a revised health claim regarding the impact of Cheerios on cholesterol levels. Back in May, the FDA sent a warning letter to General Mills saying that its claim that with Cheerios “you can lower your cholesterol 4 percent in 6 weeks” ...

My LO is 8 months and 1 week. We started solids at exactly 6 months. She also eats mum-mums like they are going out of style. She has absolutely no teeth whatsoever but I've heard a lot of people say their kids are on cheerios and puffs and things. I bought a box of cheerios, but now I'm petrified of giving them to her in case she chokes. Anyone out there start their kid on cheerios? How did it ...

I've been eating Cheerios because they are good for my cholesterol count. But lately I've been thinking of buying a box of corn flakes. I like corn flakes. In fact, almost all the cereals I really like are the plain ones from when I was a kid. Sometimes I come home from work too tired to cook so I eat cereal for dinner. Then I eat it in the morning for breakfast. Wow, no wonder I had to buy ...

Last night, I was having chest pains. I went to the hospital after about twenty minutes. The doctor did some tests and crap, and told me that I was more likely than other people to have one or more heart attacks in my life. When I asked him what I could do about it, he told me to keep Behr Aspirin handy, and possibly eat Cheerios. I'm just curious...is that normal? Or is my doctor half-ass?...

Is anyone else watching this? I turned it on a few minutes ago. The Saturdays are on singing - and my tv is on mute, and staying that way until they go off stage. They are absolutely awful. I've heard a few of their songs on Youtube and they are good. I heard them on last years Childline (on TV) and they were just as bad.

Any suggestions for a bite-sized food reward for BTs? Something they like and don't have to spend a lot of time chewing, or swallowing it whole? I was using Cheerios but after 3-4 rewards, Rachel turns her nose up at them, and I just can't see paying $5-$10 for a bag of rewards too big and too hard to use for training purposes. Recipes anyone?

As I sit here munching on my requisite nightly bowl of Cheerios (the original, not that new fancy crap...) my head is spinning... A few days ago I stopped into the local Stihl dealer (which is cleverly disguised as a John Deere Dealership) and ordered two saw chains for my 066. Well, i tried to order them, anyway. The dude at the counter told me that Stihl has stopped making straight, plain ...

Ok, here's the situation (yet another one!). My kid is still mostly on purees and a few finger foods. (Cheerios Puffs ) Actually, maybe I am the worst mom. See, we never have food in the house for US so we end up doing a lot of take out and since K is sooo good, we can now even take him to restaurants. (Not a good thing in this situation). And when we do cook at home, I often make ...

I'm in the middle of cooking a casserole that has a "bread crumb topping" and it calls for 2 1/2 cups of bread crumbs.. I only have one cup! What can I use... maybe some crushed cheerios? I have the whole-grain kind..?

So, I'm nearly 13 weeks along and am finally (within the past few weeks) losing the all-day nausea. During the time of being sick to my stomach, I could only eat a few things that I managed to keep down: cheerios, saltines, sour patch kids, ginger ale, pretzels and avocados. And now that I finally have an appetite and my food-sensitivity is not that high, I can stomach pretty much ...
