Brake Servo pipe Check Valve??? Just putting together the final pieces on my 750 Project. Looking specifically at the hose that comes from the intake manifold that goes into the brake servo. In my numerous parts piles i have several hoses and some of them have a check valve like a no return valve in the pipe. My question is do ...

Hi, I am calculating the pressure losses through a fluid system and would like to know if the cracking pressure of a check valve must be added when determining the losses through a check valve? Some manufacturer's have graphs showing the pressure losses at a given flow but does this include the cracking pressure? Thank you, Gabriel

95 SL2 214k I have been trying to hunt down a few bad rattles/noises over the past couple days. Had the cat replaced yesterday as it was making a ton of noise especially in the 1900-2000rpm range....almost unbareable in the cabin. Well the only noise I have left is a fast and kinda pitchy rattle, metal sound, only heard while driving and in the 1600-1800 rpm range, other than that ...

I have a 1999 chevy silverado 1500 5.3 eng. I have to crank the engine several times before it starts. When I just turn the ignition w/o cranking it two or three times then try to start it it starts right up. I am guessing the pressure is low like a check valve might be going. Is the valve in the fuel pump? Where can I find this valve? I think I have drop the fuel tank?...

(2003-V6) hello, did my vacuum lines a few weeks ago and found a faulty Vacuum Check Valve (located in plain view on that board at the back of the engine). Went to dealer who asked $60 for it!! found a check valve (although different looking) at kragen for $8 and installed it. everything went fine for a few weeks. today i got P0491 and P0492 codes, Secondary Air Injection (Incorrect ...

I was going thru and replacing the evap lines between the top of the gas tank and the side of the evap canister, cause I have 2 evap codes setting off my Check engine light. A P0440 and P1448 code... Going thru and replacing the rubber lines with new rubber lines and clamps was cheap and easy enough. Well, I messed up and broke a valve that is part of that string of hoses. Its the valve that has...

I was in the middle of attempting to change the passenger side air check valve due to a p1416 ses code, I unbolted and removed the air check valve and pipe and removed it from the engine to access it easier but after several tries I cannot get the damn air check valve off of the pipe, maybe I am trying to unbolt it the wrong direction or something? I have tried everything even spraying some PB ...

I too had to repalce both at different times. Due to SES codes. My friend at a local auto garage did it. Now after hearing about the problems I'm glad I did that.

Wow all this sound like the exact same problem I have, the warm start problem is relevant to need of the WUR for enrichment. Wish I knew how to fix it too! I've done the mod for the pushbutton for the CSV!!! works, without it it doesn't start. Wish there was a manual switch for the wur! _________________ 77.5 924 NA 81 924 na (great parts car) 82 924 NA 87 944S this is gonna ...

( I'm using Stoner Pipeline Simulator, an Advantica product these days. Started using it in 1985 connected from Laredo to a mainframe in Carlisle, PA. A much bigger current version will run on a small laptop today. It will do either gas or liquids steady state and transients, the thermodynamics, mixture tracking, product batch tracking, Newtonian or non, really almost anything you want to do...

Well, time to fess up. There was a breather filter in there after all! It was really jammed in there all the way to the bottom. So I pulled it out all deformed and dirty. In fact it looked like it was acting more like a plug than a filter. I wonder if that could have been the cause of the drivability problem? Anyway, teased it apart, cleaned it with carb cleaner and then hot soapy water...
