The Chargers releasing future Hall of Famer Drew Brees has to go down as one of the more interesting decsions EVER by an NFL team It would be similar if the Dolphins had released Marino after 5 years or the Bills had released Jim Kelly after 5 years. It is still hard to belive the Chargers let a Hall of Famer walk. What did we end up getting for him? a 4th round pick?

I find it funny how fans on here want to bash the Chargers for letting Bees walk, when it actuallity I think it is impressive that we had the option to let one elite qb walk only to have another on the roster. Brees is a damn good qb, but so is Rivers and he is two years younger. Two elite QBs and a hall of fame RB in one decade is pretty damn good. Yes haters I know, no rings blah blah blah, ...

including this one btw Pats will still have to go to Miami next week, but outside of that they should be an 11-5 team at worst Chargers will have to go to Dallas and then host the Bengals Bengals will have to go to Minny and SD Just by looking at this I'd say that the Chargers will probably be the 2 seed, with the Pats being the 3
