Apart from Amex does anybody do a charge card at the moment ? Having to settle the balance at the end of each month might help me keep my spending under control better than a CC. I suppose that they all charge a fee for the card otherwise they can't make money ? Just looking at options for next year at the moment Thanks

American Express announced a new charge card targeted at young adults, the American Express Zync. It has a $25 annual fee and you have the option of adding different "packs" to get additional bonus points (at a fee of course). I want to dispute a credit card charge. I had some routine maintenance done on my car at 60k miles as said in the owners manual. I had the timing belt replaced and before it was replaced there were no noises. But once it was placed they tightened the tensioner too tightly and it was making a whipping/whining noise. Trying to find an add-on card that works with the G540 charge pump circuit. When the pump is disabled everything else seems to be fine, I can jog the motors and there appears to be no other issues, but no matter what I can't get the Charge Pump to enable without faulting. I found a charge on my credit card which originates with skype. At the same time, I don't think I've EVER entered my credit card on Skype, and have never used it for anything other than computer-to-computer within USA. I strongly suspect that my credit card has been used with someone else's account. How can I follow up on this? Needless to say, this is very urgent. Thanks for your help! ...

Check your credit card statement for a charge of $14.95 from a company named Encore Marketing. This company gets your name and CC info from some of the websites you order from who offer free shipping and handling. From what you have now said (10 late payments) , I think you will find it difficult to get a credit card and probaby a charge card. A pre-paid card is different as it offers no credit. So it would look like you need either a prepaid card or a seperate bank account.
