Favorite Character Class

Hey. I've been playing the game only a few hours, but I don't know what class to play. I started out as mordecai (sniper class), made it to level 14 (yeah I know, not very far) but I'm not loving the class. Sniping seems powerful, but to slow - it often seems much faster and effective to run in w/ an SMG and destroy everything. What class would you recommend for me?

I hit 80 bout 5 months ago and am pretty bored since i have done alot of the newest raids and whatnot. Now i want to start a new character that is dosent involve alot of melee. Hi, i was thinking that there should be a Class change, there is race change, Faction change and i think there should be a class change I Would happily buy the class change for my level 80 deathknight to be a mage, i personaly think there soo kool, but i can never level them :) if you would please make a class change i would love you forever. ps. if you do please make it suitable price :)...

ok so ive used a lance for about 10 battles but for most of the game ive used dual-wielded blades but the game has set my class as freelancer, why is this and how do i change it?
