Eh, I hadn't thought of that. That's kinda how I did my street knight Liam, come to think of it. He ended up the Baron of the commoner freehold in the LARP too...right before the game ended. Hell, by the end of the game I had two players being loyal squires even tho I didn't ask them to. They just decided to help me out after I helped them.

I had a lot of success with running oWOD Changeling: The Dreaming with kids. Having them play a "sort of" version of themselves that suddenly had the world of the Dreaming opened up to them. I like Changeling: The Lost, but it doesn't lend itself quite as well to this kind of game for kids. I also like the new system much more than the old one (especially as a system for beginners).
