Hi everyone... Well i just wanted to ask a question... I gave birth to my daughter 5 months ago, She was 2 and a half weeks overdue. I had a ceasarean section because my cervix never softened, it never became favourable. So, I never had a contraction, never lost my plug or anything like that. My OB said it was too risky to induce because my cervix was not soft at all. So, lol, being...

Ok so I check my cervix but I am no pro. I check it to feel changes, but at the same time im not sure about the positioning. What does it mean when you check it, and the "finger print" part of your finger goes right on it. Like you have to reach up to feel but its not to high and you can reach it no problem? Is that medium? And is high where you can barely feel it at all, if you ...

I had my second baby 10 wks ago and am just starting NFP.  I've been checking my CM and CP for about a week now.  I'm really confused!  My cervix has felt really high the whole week.  I don't have anything to compare it too since I'm just starting, but I can feel my uterus pretty close to it so I assume that's high.  It's also been really soft.  TOday it's still soft, but not near as much.  From...

So I got curious and checked my cervix this morning. It is high soft and OPEN! I have already called the dr but of course they haven't called me back yet. I had a miscarriage at 11w2d this past Jan. The baby was FINE the day before and then less than 24 hours later, the baby was GONE and I was completely thinned out and dialated. I had been cramping a little but nothing that would have clued me ...

Ok, so I had my 38week and 3 day appointment. I am set for an elective induction the 30th of November (yeah, monday) but I decided to only go ahead with it if my cervix was favourable. I am only 1 cm dialated, soft, and 50% effaced. This is my second child though, so that should make things easier once things start going. My doctor gave me a vague answer that 'its a personal choice' but...

Hi, I am almost 10 weeks pregnant and I started noticing some brown tinged discharge yesterday. This morning, while in the shower, I checked my cervix and it feels very low. I'm concerned that this is a bad sign. I thought of calling my doctor but I've been calling her alot since I got pregnant and I have a check up tomorrow. Can you tell me if this is normal? So to start with I am 4 days overdue... I had an appointment today and they said that they couldn't tell if I was dialated because my cervix was up too high, and my LO's head was so low. They also said this when they did an exam last week... I guess I am a little confused by this, has anyone else had this same problem?

This is very disturbing, but I can now see my cervix near my vaginal opening. I've heard this happens to a lot of women after they have kids. I'm only 28 with no kids. Additionally, I sometimes pee a little bit when I sneeze. (Again something I thought only happened to older or pregnant women). I had a recent thyroidectomy, after which I gained about 60 pounds, my hair is turning gray and I ...
