Hi All Can anyone recommend any good sources for seasoned firewood / logs ( preferably hardwood ) in the Glasgow / Central Scotland area. FYI I paid £120 for a load of hardwood that filled up the back of an open top jeep. Apparently the equivalent to 2 Builders bags worth. The wood was ok but not fully seasoned hence the question. Thanks in advance.

Hi Guys & Girls, After a trial run involving 4 fetchies last Monday afternoon, I'm planning on organising another winter training run. Last week we ran approx 13km along towpaths adjacent to the Forth & Clyde Canal, up past the Falkirk Wheel, thru the tunnel onto the Union Canal towpath for a bit before we weaved our way back towards the F&C canal path round Camelon and back to Bonnybridge. ...

3 Fetchies (Ribenaface, Dvorak and myself) are meeting on Monday 23rd November to do a 9-10 mile training run in/around the Forth & Clyde and Union canals in Falkirk/Bonnybridge. If you're off work or at a loose end and want to join in then drop us a fmail. We're looking at meeting around 1400/1430 to allow us to get the run completed in daylight. Bird Identification Q&A

I have come to the conclusion that this "could " be a swan goose/greylag hybrid, if such a "marriage" exists. But to be honest, I haven't a clue. Spotted at Drumpellier loch in coatbridge, and it was considerably bigger than the greylags that it was hanging out with.

Hi All PRUE - from Stirling head into Falkirk - turn right at the roundabout at the football stadium, go through the next roundabout, roads veers to left, got through the next 2 mini-roundabouts - the big Asda warehouse is on your right. At the next roundabout (mini) before the bridge turn left, follow the road about 200 metres and the entrance to The Buzz is on your left hand side. ...
