mike rowe should try working at a cemetery, not just digging graves but digging up people when they need to be disinterred. also cremations, entombments and so on. i know that most cemetery workers treat the deceased with great reverence and have a lot of pride in their job. it would make an interesting episode.

Let me start by professing my skepticism regarding the paranormal and spirits prior to this event. It was about 6 years ago, I was 19 and school was out for the summer when my best friend and I decided on a whim to take a trip up to South Lake Tahoe in California. I have family up there and being from southern California, it was a prime opportunity to enjoy the beautiful outdoor activities ...

As a young minister, I was asked by a funeral director to hold a grave-side service for a homeless man, with no family or friends. The funeral was to be held at a cemetery way back in the country, and this man would be the first to be laid to rest there. As I was not familiar with the backwoods area, I became lost; and being a typical man did not stop for directions. I finally...

My Dad a WWII Veteran from the Pacific Theater passed away last week. I did not now much about the Cemetery he was to be buried at on Long Island. Its strictly a Military Cemetery. Its the second largest in the Country. Arlington being the largest. I was very impressed that the full Military Honors were carried out by the Old Guard. I don't know if the old Guard has Soldiers stationed there...

Sorry for your loss. I believe my cousin was the superintendant at that National Cemetery years ago before becoming the superintendant at Arlington. If it is the same place he told me about, it is a beautifully maintained and run site. A fitting place for your Dad's final bivouac.

I really like number 3. I feel that it would be a better picture though if you desaturated (or greyed?) the purple flowers that are outside of the fence though. They were kind of distracting and I think it would be cool if the color was just within the grave.
