hi why is the cathode ray tube airless, what would hapen if it was a conductive liquid inside would the electrons still be effected by the electromagnetic fields? Answer They'd move at the drift velocity due to molecular collisions. Kinda like a skydiver falls at terminal velocity. They wouldn't be free to accelerate out of control. That would mean there would be no high-velocity ...

Cathode tubes? do they really break that easily? I put in the acrylic rods but they aren't very visible in the daylight, and is there anyway I can switch my parking lights to my regular driving lights so BOTH angel eyes can be seen at once.

Hey Guys, I got myself a CM Haf 922 over the Black Friday sales and I love the front 200mm red LED fan but I want a brighter case so I was considering getting a couple red cold cathodes to stick in this beast. My question is, where is the best place to put them? I've never used cold cathodes before so I'm not sure which area gives the best radiating glow, and because they have to be ...

. I've searched and read all the threads. But this amp is still a bit of a mystery. The DNA Sonnet webpage is very upfront about the key factors in an SET OPT amp. Does the Woo6 take the output from the cathode or the anode and is there a capacitor on the output before the OPT? .

Personally, i would like a 3 pin fan connector. That way you could also include a 4 to 3 pin adapter. For people like me who might want to run it off of a fan controller, then we wouldnt have to cut the molex off and put our own 3 pin on. In other words, i think it might help keep down on the amount of connectors one would have to use.

Odd coincidence that this thread should pop up today -- my asskicker of a CRT, a Sony XBR that's "HD ready" but only to 1080i quit lighting up a few weeks ago. I did all the research on replacing it, decided that a Panasonic TC-P42G15 would be the perfect choice... but upon seeing that set in real life, I was seriously underwhelmed. The best LCD's & plasmas simply are not as good as the best ...
