Hey guys, I'm looking for a fan controller to control the fans in my case. Don't need anything fancy, just something functional and in good condition. LCD screens or touch screens are not needed and simple knobs will do. I would very much prefer something that fits into the 3.5" drive bay, but all offers are welcome. Need something that can control at least 4 fans. PM with price, ...

So I want to have 4x120mm case fans running on AC power. What is the best method to do this? I was looking around my house for an older AT style power supply that I can just leave in the on position with the 4 fans hooked up to it but I can only find ATX ones. Is there a more elegant solution like a ...

I currently have two coolermaster 120mm fans in my coolermaster elite 330 case. One is the standard fan, the second mounted at the front sucking air in over the hard disks is a Cooler Master TLF-S12-EB 120mm Quad LED Silent Case Fan. It has an air flow rating of 42.734 CFM and an air pressure rating of 1.557 mmH2O. I have given up on overclocking my phenom 965, as soon as I ...

This is very strange. I just got a new PSU, and now none of my case fans will turn on. The funny thing is that I tried plugging them into 4 different power connectors - even one of them that was hooked to a hard drive, which I KNOW works - and not one of the three fans would turn on. (they are daisy-chained together, but I also tried with just one of them alone) Any ideas? (the PSU is ...

I'm in the middle of building my second cab right now, so I kinda know what I'm doing. I just picked up 2 120mm case fans from radio shack and a multi-volt power adapter and I'm wondering if that would be good enough to power the 2 fans on full power if I wired them in parallel. I figure it would work well enough, but don't want to start cutting wires only to find out it doesn't work well ...

Anyone has problem with the 230mm fans in ATCS 840 casing? Why is the second 230mm fan on top spinning at 600+rpm while the first 230mm fan is spinning at 1000+rpm. If I open the side panel, the second fan's speed will increase from 600+rpm to 800rpm. Is it because my air flow too strong?

TBH, I would be more worried about that crappy PSU than the fans... I agree that you probably will not be able to fit two 120mm fans in the front. You could probably butcher the side panel and slap a few on there. Is there any reason you want to mod this case for 120mm fans? Seems it has plenty of airflow as it is. Is it just loud or something?

Im no electrician. But I have 2 120mm case fans and 1 90mm case fan all running off 1 12v DC power supply. Works great and the fans run at full power. The adapter gets a lil warm but nothing for me to worry about.

Your temps are perfectly fine. No CPU is made the same so it's entirely possible yours just runs a little hotter or theirs runs a little cooler. Thermal material may be different too. You have nothing to worry about.

what case are you using? And speaking from a practical and safe stand point, having fans on the outside of a case could be detrimental to the longevity of the fan. Putting fans out the outside of your case can be seen as wearing underwear out the outside of your pants. Most people can't pull it off and will only be thought of as crazy. But one person in a million can do it. Example,...
