While there may have been more prolific running backs at Carmel High before 2000, since 1999 when mbaypreps began keeping stats Dylan Hopkins is now the single season rushing leader for Carmel with 1,539 yards. He also now appears to hold the "career record" for Carmel with 2,100 yards. His 26 rushing TD's this year put him behind Shawn Benjamin from Watsonville who had 28 TD's in 2002, 27 TD's...

I'm interested in purchasing a pair of shoes from Alden of Carmel but have been unable to get a reply to my email inquiries. Having read a number of posts complimenting the proprietor's responsiveness, this has surprised me. Is anyone out there experiencing the same problem?

Planning a getaway for about 10 family members next July...we will rent a house in Napa for almost a week but have a long weekend to spend somewhere "else". One child involved, so thought the beach might be a good idea...do you recommend Carmel or is there a better option?

Doesn't need to be big. When I'm in the area, I eat at "Little Napoli" in Carmel. It turns out that the original owner of the place (his on now runs it), Frank Sinatra, and my own mother went to the same high school in an eastern Italian ghetto.
