I have a nitro rc car Cen racing CT5. I'm just wondering how to take the gears off of the end of the engine? (There is a screw on the end but it won't take the gears off,but it spins) Answer If I'm understanding you correctly, you're wanting to remove the clutch bell. Typically, the clutch bell is held in place by a "E" clip. Go to this link for a picture. http://www.4rc.nl/webshop/...

Was reading through some other blogs about the LA auto show. Looks like there are a lot of hybrids or electrics coming out that they are calling performance or sporty cars; Honda CRZ, new Toyota MR2, Fisker, etc. Even saw a super car concept with a micro-gas turbine driving a generator to power an electric drive train. Was wondering what the Addicts think of all this? Didn't really think we'd ...

http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2009/12/01/cmt_380_mi crotu... / One of the highlights of the 2009 Los Angeles Auto Show, which opens on 4 December, will be a jet-powered electric car. Called the CMT-380, the vehicle has been developed by microturbine specialist Capstone with help from Electronic Arts' Chief Creative Director, Richard Hilleman, who presumably is tired of ...
"Motorists who leave their cars running on frosty mornings to warm up the engine and clear the windscreen could face being fined under anti-pollution rules this winter. Drivers are being told that leaving a car idling for more than a couple of minutes wastes fuel, and they could be served with on-the-spot fines of up to £40. However motoring groups have warned the rules should not be used to ...

My mother drove into a fairly deep flood a few days ago in her one year old diesel engine VW. The engine cut out, and a couple of hours later, the car was towed away to a garage. The engine was flooded, the car itself was not flooded though, as the shell is waterproof The engine wont start since, there may be quite a bit of damage to the engine, we're not sure how much damage though A ...

My car wouldn't start this morning. It's a '99 VW Passat 1.8T (AEB). What I know: It's been parked since last wednesday evening (almost 5 days). The engine turns over, but it won't start. I checked the battery (only about 6 months old) and it's fine - even tried to jump start it. There are NO error codes (per VAG-COM); although this could be because I disconnected the battery and it ...

yeah I was told that it's something with the clutch of the compressor, my dad's sending it to his mechanic friend so check it out tomorrow. But it's seized up pretty badly, we can't even hand crank the fan around and the original belt is toast, I'll run these by the mechanic tomorrow so hopefully it'll narrow it down faster for him tomorrow MY GALLERY -feel free to...
