Hey everyone. i have a computer with Vista 64 and realize there are not alot of capture cards compatible with it. I am looking for a basic card that can capture an analog signal from my Sony 8mm videocamera. I was using DVD Xpress DV2, but when migrating from XP to Vista, the new Vista drivers didn't work with it and i am tired of messing with it anymore. I also have Sony Vegas ...

I have been looking for a High Definition Capture Card to record some gameplay. I've come up with little luck in finding one that fits my needs... What I'm looking for: 1. Needs to be EXTERNAL. 2. Price is not an issue. 3. HD (duh) If I were to upgrade my current software to record in HD, would an SD card work? Should I just go with a HD Camcorder with Input outlets? If you could post a ...

> I just set up capture card, did an order, exported order details. I set up security certs such that I can view credit card details in the control panel. The credit card details are not dumping into the csv when I export. What am I missing?

Hello, I am planning to backup some Laserdiscs and VHS (fragments, mainly), and as the times when I did video edition/capturing are far away, I come here to ask you about current capture hardware, if you are kind enough to help me. As I am going to capture Laserdisc I need to use composite capture, so I was looking for a good quality capture card. I know that there are several ...

Hi, I'm using a BT878-based video capture card to digitise my analog camcorder's output, using PAL-I signal format at 25fps. OS is XP. I've been trying to use Movie Maker to record from the card, but its recommended setting is only 320x240 at 25fps, and there are no other higher resolutions available at that frame rate. I could record it at 30fps, but I fear that will give me problems with ...

I have a Sony Handycam, and I have several software applications. I have a USB connection. But when I try to get the camera to show up in the program, It doesn't show up. What should I do? Or what should I set the settings to. Should the settings be a PAL or NTSC Setting, or what?

I'm finally getting a Mac (13" Macbook Pro), and I need a capture card for it. This is the best one I can find, but apparently it's not very good. So, could anyone recommend me a Mac capture card for under $200?

> I did the steps I outlined below and it works. Only exception is that I found that it was unnecessary to remove the security certificate as disabling aspencrypt takes care of it. Andy, Thanks for the link. I looked it over and wonder if I understand correctly: I will need to remove ASPencrypt by setting encryptmethod="aspencrypt" to "none." I assume I also need to remove the certificate ...
