Joe Calzaghe V Chad Dawson Does anyone see this fight ever happening? It seems Calzaghe cant escape the question of why he left the boxing world after Dawson called him out even offering to fight Joe in his home town?? I dont agree with comments that Carl Froch would beat Joe. Froch is a joke he was lucky to win his last fight ...

Just read the story on boxer Joe Calzaghe wanting to beat-up Jordan's boyfriend for Peter Andre. I'm no advocate of violence, but the ridiculousness of it all couldn't help but make me smile. Particularly as Red Dragon (where the boxer made the comments) have stuck up a pictorial account of...

I stand corrected from an earlier post of Calzaghe breaching 2 signed fights with Glenn Johnson..it was actually 3. To the idiot that said Glenn was past his prime..why didn't Calzaghe just destroy him to shut him up? Obviously for Calzaghe to sign 3 fight contract agreements with Gelnn, start training, and drop out of the fight due to injuries, is all an honest person needs to know to make an...

Carl Froch blasts jealous Joe Calzaghe By David Anderson 20/10/2009 Carl Froch has hit back at Joe Calzaghe, claiming he's jealous of his success. Wbc super-middleweight champ Froch is annoyed by Calzaghe's claims that he has no chance against WBA king Mikkel Kessler in his next fight in the Super Six Series. I think Nards gonna easily UD him but no way gonna hand Roy his ass and make him look like a downright bum like the legend killer did in November 08. What do you think?

I felt bad for Roy that night,I mean Joe was in his face hands down dancing That must have hurt poor Roys ego worse than the time Tarver flattened his ass. If you watch it in HD you can almost feel the beatdown __________________ Lost Sig Bet

Calslappy was a good fighter. His style would given a lot of fighters problems. He was a little chinny and he didn't have any pop, but his high volume and movement was a lot to deal with. An opponent has to either fight at his pace or be good enough to pick shots that will actually hurt him. If you can't hurt him you can't really keep him off of you. He's in the top 100. I agree, good post, ...

Hopkins fights against Eastman, Taylor 1&2, Calzaghe, and Winky along with several others were way more boring and disgraceful than this fight this past weekend. But Dawson sucks for not looking good against Glen, who no one looks good against, but Hop gets a pass on all those fights because he is old. Is that what I am gathering?

Paul Williams keeps saying that he would fight anyone at 147-175, and yet he refuses to fight Sergio Martinez at 154? Martinez scared him at 154? Pacman, JM Marquez, Mosley, Pavlik, Calzaghe, the Klitchkos, Darchinyan, Cotto, Delahoya, those are my heroes. They don't duck anyone. I thought Williams might belong in that group. Instead put him with Mayweather,Hopkins, Jones...

Or is Hatton that looked like **** against Collazo, and Urango the great prime fighter Floyd and Pacquiao beat? Since Calzaghe gets discredited for beating Lacy, I guess Hatton is considered that kind of level of fighter that Lacy is. Since both hatton and lacy struggled with fighters you wouldn't expect them to struggle with.

that's the first time i've ever seen a calzaghe themed thread that hasn't involved lots of americans lambasting calzaghe and showing an incredible lack of respect to one of britain's greatest ever fighters. well done people although there's time for it to go up the swanny yet i suppose... i think calzaghe wins if he still has it in him, but i think it would be closer than many have ...

lol Grantzilla i think every true boxing fan in the UK knows that Haye's and Ali's name shouldnt be used in the same sentance.... i just dont get the fact that everyone on this board has moaned in the past that the heavyweight division is awful - theres no life in it.... yet when someone comes along and is different, loud and cocky (and beats someone that although is a terrible "boxer" is ...
