Is it possible to buy boots with thin calves in the US? The only boots that I have ever bought r that fit snugly around my calves was in Europe. In the US, the boots have huge calves (I wonder why?). It makes my legs look fat.

Just wondering. I used to when I followed a bodybuilding style routine with a body part split, but I haven't bothered with them since I restarted training. I've been thinking about getting Vibrams for running which is supposed to strengthen the calves and ankles, but I'm not sure if I'd go back to doing all those calf raises again. Question: Do any calf specific work? Choices: ...

I have a long history of back problems, surgery for a herniation L 4-5, alot of arthritis in my facet joints, and degenerative disc disease. I have been to many docs and had 2 ultrasounds within a month because of a cramping and aching in both calves at night, one so bad it made me limp when I walked. I have had another test on both my calves where the blood flow was checked and it showed it was ...

I am a size 14 bottom & would target to be a 10/12 but dread the thought of slimming down & still not being able to wear short skirts/dresses as Im so paranoid about my calves. Is there anyone who has lost weight with SW & noticed a difference with the size of their calves in particular? I know there aren't really any exercises ...

Hi all, My fiance is interested in picking up some Reebok EasyTone sneakers, which according to Reebok will help "tone" your glutes, calves and hamstrings from just walking. To me this sounds kind of gimmicky. While the general idea seems to make sense, a rounded sole so that you utilize your muscles to stabilize yourself, I just can't see it doing much more than negatively affecting your gait, ...

I'd like to see if anyone might have the same problem or a solution to mine. Every season I start off with calf cramps. They are about halfway up my calves and towards the inside. They usually go away after a few weeks but hung on longer last season. They also show up when spinning at higher RPM's. I try stretching, try and be properly hydrated. FWIW, people have accused me of having calf ...
