Just wondering how often everyone else gives Calpol to their LO 's when they're teething? I'd rather not give any at all but Molly's been teething FOREVER now and the last couple of weeks she's obviously been in a lot of pain so I guess we had one week of one dose at bed time and this week she's having another dose in the morning because if she doesn't she can't nap or drink much milk Is...

I've got a pair of sick baby twins neither of whom will take Calpol. If I'm able to get it into their mouths, they spit it out. If I try to squirt it down their throat, even in little drips, they gag or choke. I'm guessing it's the flavour they don't like. Does anyone know of an alternative?

Dd has had the cold since Thursday and has been complaining of a sore throat as well (she's 3). I've been giving her calpol the last few days as she did have a bit of a temperature but it seems fine now. She's been coughing quite a lot, especially yesterday and was sick last night through coughing so much (was v glad I hadn't changed the sheets yet!). She was quite restless through the ...

My little man has his 8 week jabs on saturday an I've got some calpol in just in case. My pharmacist says it's not meant ot be given to babies under 3 months so was wondering how much of it everyone else gave there LO's (if you did that is) apparenty the dose for 3 months is half a teaspoon so what should it be for 8 weeks? Thanks _________________

Got Calpol sugar free 2+ months 100ml today at my local Tesco for only £1.50 - was not on special offer, this seems to be the price. Almost half of what I pay at Boots!

My LO has a cold poor thing, he seems ok in himself, he has been playing this morning and has had a decent feed (just gone down for a nap), but he is quite snotty and has a little cough. I keep taking his temperature and it seems to be ranging around 37-37.4. I know a mild fever is classed as 37.5, but as it is leaning towards the higher end, would you give calpol? He is 10 weeks on ...

Hi girlies Well, I think Jess is teething again as she is dribbling excessively and being really miserable at night and waking a couple of times - nothing soothes her apart from keeping her up a little bit then calpol and a bit of milk! Always fun with work the next day! Any other lo's with the first molars yet? How long does this misery last? Feel so sorry for her and also i am going out...

Hi Girls, Callum has a terrible cold - runny nose, a cough and looks really unwell. He won't take any solids or formula but will breastfeed. He slept in his buggy for most of the afternoon. His temperature was 37.6 and went down to 36.8 after calpol. I know if its a cold the doctor won't be able to give me anything for him but just wondering if others would bring their babies to the doctors ...

We were just wondering if you can give them Calpol and Nurofen? He had some Nurofen at 6.30 and is going to bed at 7.30, can I give him some Calpol then? Thank you Laura xx
