Although I am Scottish and live in Scotland I frequently visit the area (Canmore). There are a number of places outside Calgary to look. I'll start with the furthest away. There are a pair at Vermillion Lakes just outside Banff. I doubt they will be about yet as they are a nesting pair and tend to be about from March onwards.
