hey, i need to find an efficient way of calculating pokemon IV's. Now, the best way is apparently a WIFI battle with a friend, where my pokemon are scaled to 100. However, is it possible to do this at the battle tower, without connecting to wifi? Apparently, pokemon will be at level 50 there. Does this mean my level 1 Onix will get scaled up to 50? If so, this is great, because ...

I have a spreadsheet for calculating the number of correct predictions of football matches, I also have a spreadsheet for a league table which displays the position of participants. At the moment I write down the correct number of predictions for each person and then I enter it into a league table. Would there be anyway of linking the data from the ...

My query needs to show time remaining from "eligible time off" and accumulated time taken. However, rather than subtracting the total of time taken from the eligible time off (ex. 120-80), it is running the subtraction on each individual time off request and then adding the results (ex 120 -8, 120-8, 120-8, and coming up with 336). It is evaluating against a query the correctly sums ...

I have a table of events that contains a field, CREATION_DATE, that is defined as NOT NULL TIMESTAMP(6), and the value is normally in the format 'DD-MON-YYYY HH:MM:SS.FFFFFF xM'. I want to SELECT only those rows where the elapsed time between the CREATION_DATE and the local time (US/EASTERN) is greater than 15 minutes. And, I'd like the output to show the ...

I'm really curious about high revving engines, how do they do it in motorcycles so assuredly? I realized the stroke vs. bore thing, but there's got to be more to it. Anyhow, what I was actually wondering is, is there any sort of thing to calculate a redline? Obviously we (being US, big companies can though, obviously) can't go blowing up our engines just to see if we built it well (although we ...

I am looking at showing the quarter a selective date is in i.e. 9-Dec-09 would be 4Qtr09.s Any code that can do this without having to go in to do it manually? The amount of data in the column is also constantly changing so I would need the code to loop until the end of the data. Any help would be appreciated. Date...

I would like to find the expected change in a bond price for a large move in the yield curve. I know I can use the dollar duration times the basis point move to find my answer for small basis point moves. However, I want to take convexity into account. How do I do that? Can I approach this problem by finding the forward price of the bond in 1 year, and finding the forward ...

The scenario: A teacher gives fifteen 3-point quizzes over the course of the term, planning to count toward the final grade only a student's ten highest scores. At term's end, some students have fifteen scores, others fewer, with the score on each quiz ranging from blank or 0 to 3 points. Is there an Excel (Office X) function to select and total the top 10 scores? Sample data (....
