Hi all, I hope someone can help. I've been all over the net trying to find a fix for this. At random times (usually in the evening to early morning) both my processors (Dell Inspiron E1505 core 2 duo) will max out at 100% usage (noticed with a sidebar gadget). When checking with the task manager there can be a few different culprits. It varies between these three: - ...

Exactly what the title says. Hopefully this will be the only stop needed to get a great OC with Gigabyte's P45 boards and Penryns. I haven't tried my E8400 yet so if you're using an E8x00 we need your input. Please chime in when you see something missing or incorrect. I appreciate all the input I can get! Help me compile as much info as we can here. My system: Motherboard: Gigabyte ...

Hi everyone. I'm new to AMD processors. I'm looking to purchase the following: - Sempron LE-1100 or Athlon 64 LE-1600 - GA-MA78GM-S2H motherboard Gigabyte states that the board supports 16GB of DDR2. Surely I do. I sold my E7200 for an E1200, sold that because I hated it for an E6300, sold THAT because it wouldn't overclock on my board and got an E2180. Now I have sold it because I got the E5200. I love getting brand new tech, LOVE it.

As someone looking to upgrade their system in the very near term, one of the options I was heavily leaning towards was and athlon 3.0ghz as a cheap option. These results have strongly suggested that would be a waste of time/money to me. Still not sure wether I will go phenom or core2 or neleham but at least ruled one option out. 37 frames is a lot to give away on current games, not ...
