Hey, I've probably overlooked something very obvious and being very stupid, but CPUZ states my CPU at 3.6 @ 400x9, when I am actually using a 9.5 multiplier.

I can't figure this out. Every time I run CPUz, I hear my audio click off and the only way to fix it is to reboot.(as in no audio from anything, nothing can play ANY audio at all) Specs are below and anyone have any idea why CPUz crashes my audio? Specs: Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 @ 3.6GHz 400x9 Soundblaster X-Fi Xtrememusic w/ DDL enabled 8GB DDR2 5-5-5-15 1.8v 1:1 FSB : DRAM nVidia GTX...

I just put a new computer together for a friend featuring an Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200. I've got all the hardware set up and doing the normal post-install checks on everything, and I'm looking at the cpu page of CPUz while performing some rudimentary processes to find that the multiplier on the CPU is intermittently switching back and forth between 6 and 7, causing the clock speed to swap between ...

Hi, Currently CPUZ takes around a minute or two at startup to start...I never had this problem before. Can anyone help me with this?? Even everest or cpuid takes its own time, and once cpuz gets the data going, then the others start as well. Not that they need the data on cpuz to come first, but what I mean to say is that they all seem to take a lot of time to collect the data.

This happens every 5-7sec Also my +12v goes from 12.21v to 12.26v every 5-7 minute or so. Is this OK? E8500 can't get higher than 434 FSB without it going unstable and having to set the vcore signifigantly higher and subjecting my cpu to high 60C load temps.. Im wondering if my PSU is holding it up ok.. does bumping the vcore dramatically increase any load on the PSU? Am I tripping too ...
So after 2-3 years of running my computer... I'm looking around in everest and I notice, it says my RAM is running 333Mhz. I'm like, well that's odd. So I check cpuZ, and it's showing 315.1Mhz The ram I am running, is http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231 055 During POST, it shows 2048MB of DDR 677Mhz. They are running in Dual channel. I checked BIOS, and went in and ...

I just recently finished putting a new system together (pre-overclocked) and something seems to be dropping the CPU multiplier. Could anyone help me out here? I can see the overlock in the BIOS and when I run CPUZ at startup it shows the correct values, but then it drops down like crazy. I'm on Windows 7 btw.

I guess it's probably something to do with the fact that my board doesn't innately support the CPU without being updated to the latest BIOS (F7). Maybe the guys at CPUZ haven't updated my board in their databases or something

Sorry to keep labouring this but the ram I tried had 184 pins and the alignment notch is in the same position. I have the 2 of them lying on my desk; they are 512MB DDR400 each but I am sure are DDR2 as they will not work in my computer. My computer is a gigabyte GA-7N400-L and crucial part Nos include the names DDR PC2700 and also DDR PC3200. As I said I shall go ahead and buy ...
