Looking for some advice on a new CPU cooler. My poor Phenom II 955 BE is hitting 60c at load, dangerously close to the safe limit, using the stock cooler while playing DragonAge. The stock cooler is quite dusty so I am hoping a good clean will bring the temps down until I get my new one. I've been looking at the CoolerMaster V8 and Zalman CNPS10X Extreme, does anyone have any personal ...

So once upon a time I had a Compaq SR1340UK Desktop PC. It was pretty cool, but time stands for no box of kit and over the years I've fudged it into a new case and added a few pieces to try to keep it up to date. However, the beating heart of the machine is still the Athlon 64 3200+ from the original Compaq. There's a brand new AMD Phenom X4 965 125W processor in the post now though, as well as ...

At this point the typical company introduces a louder fan into the mix and says there is give and take to the mix, and that it’s just a way of manufacturing a better performing complete package. GELID took a different approach; they were looking for a better way to keep the best of both worlds, and with hours of programming and simulations in the development stages, have come up with a slightly ...

Think Computers have a review of the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus CPU Cooler, an easy to remember name for such a simple product! Quote: After doing a lot of experimenting with coolers utilizing this technology, I have found that it does work rather than just looking good on paper. Todays cooler will be the 11th I have tested using this, and I...

I have been using my new 630 for a few months now and the CPU temps average 38c idle and 50c when gaming according to RealTemp. Should I invest in an aftermarket CPU cooler? If so, what would fit in a stock 630. Would this fit on a Q9550? Any alternatives. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6835118223

The far i know it seems like it's only the voltage difference on the two, Which makes the other one more hot? not much with performance to do? Ofc It might keep back the OC'ing. The 125W was OC'ed to 3.9Ghz on air, and the 140 around 3.8Ghz, Not much, Neither much price difference .. But im gonna go for the newst one, It can't be worse then the previoes one.
