Hi, my Compaq CQ clock is getting slower and slower, i suspect the cmos battery need replacement oledi. Where can I change the battery? Has anyone replace their Cmos battery on Compaq CQ b4? I heard need to dismantle the whole computer and service charge alone is rm60. so expensive meh?

Hi, I have Dell 8300 dimension model. Whenver I start the pc it takes time to switch on and says Press F1 because the low battery. Do you what would be the actual probelm please?

WHEN I BOOT UP MY DESKTOP 8400, I GET AN ERROR MESSAGE: :ALERT...SYSTEM BATTERY VOLTAGE IS LOW. STRIKE THE F1 KEY TO CONTINUE, F2 TO RUN THE SETUP UTILITY. CAN I SIMPLY OPEN THE PC AND REPLACE THE BATTERY? BILL

As the title says I replaced the battery with another 2032 3v battery as I found after a 3 week holiday my CMOS settings had reset. On rebooting I get fans on power to HDDs however the monitors won't power on. Where to get a Toshiba R100 CMOS battery?

Recently I picked up a Toshiba R100 off of ebay. It's a very nice little machine, and I like how I can pop off the extended battery when it's drained. I believe that the CMOS battery is dead though, and I'm having trouble finding a replacement for it. Can anyone suggest a website where I can pick one of these up?
