hey guys, im going crazy here trying to study organic chemistry...whats even more depressing is i read on the internet that chemistry majors dont get paid much....i really want to earn over 50k when i graduate....please tell me chem majors earn more than 50 k...i dont want to be poor..and i dont want to study so much when i will barely earn anything..this just isnt fair.....help me.... Orgo is a terrible class, but it isn't that bad if you spend time to study and memorizes all of those reactions. Plus the second semester is much different. Whatever you do, don't drop it. It's going to put you behind a whole year. You could take a summer gen chem course but it's going to be worse. One thing I realized is that there's a lot of arrogance surrounding these intro classes. They're NOT easy, especially if you don't have a great teacher.
