The last place I need to upgrade for my 2 chan system is the CD Player/DAC. I am very happy with my Pre amp, amp & speakers. I am just using a standard 5 disc Sony CDP as the transport and a Soundstream DAC-1, which is a mediocre DAC, but still better than what the Sony has. From reviews I have read it is better than built in DACs in Yamaha & lower end Denon. I have heard a lot of good (if ...

Just received my new CDP II 9mm. Can't seem to remove slide. Took it to dealer and he also had problem inserting L tool. Took a little finish off the frame lip trying to insert the tool. Once inserted could not remove the slide stop by pushing from the right side. Hammer was cocked back and he was holding grip safety in I think. I know as per manual if not using tool, donot hold in grip safety ...

I am new here and I have a new guy Kimber question. I would like to know what the differences are between the Ultra CDP and the Ultra CDP II. I was also wondering what year they switched to the CDP II. Does anyone here have the Ultra CDP and if so how does it work for you? Thanks for your time and comments.

Hi, New member I am looking at buying a new Kimber pro. I am torn between the SIS and the CDP. Or should I save some money and get a ProCarry HD II (which has a stainless steel frame & slide) ? Any sugestions?

So I have this kimber pro cdp which does nothing but sit in the safe. When I bought it, it was with the intention of carry, but I hate carrying the thing. I shoot it well, but as my wrist are messed up, I prefer shooting an all steel 1911, easier on the wrist, so I can shoot longer with no after pain. So I've decided to trade. Found a gun with an older model Springfield ...

Received a call from my LGS saying they just received a CDP II 9mm. and if I still wanted one, YES. Went right up and picked it up. Had no deposit on it. Should have gone to two others that had deposits. Nice to have friends. Ouestion, What size Uncle Mikes IWB should I use for know. Any ideas for a good IWB and OWB for it. Presently have a FIST for my LCP and a KD for my M&P 9c. Both OWB. Carry ...
I took my CDP Pro II to the local gunsmith and requested that he polish the ramp and do a reliability tune-up. He told me that as the frame is anodized aluminum, so was the ramp. He said that by polishing the ramp, it could/would remove some or a considerable amount of the anodizing which could cause the aluminum to soften. As a smooth feed ramp is important for the reliability of a 1911 ...

Just purchased a new Custom CDP II and was wondering what type of cast bullets worked the best. SWC or RN and what weight seems to shoot the best for target shooting. Thanks for any input.
