I am trying to recall location of hotels near CDG (w/free shuttle) Are all of these hotels in the same area: Novotel Convention/Wellness Suitehotel Roissy Mercure Roissy ? ( If I am correct, there are several other hotels--Ibis, Etap, etc) in a loop?) Just want to be certain if we have to overnight last-minute. Please and thank you!

Hi all! We'll shortly be spending one night at the CdG airport Ibis and I was wondering if there's access to any little market chains (like MarchePlus, Casino, etc.) just to pick up wine & water & such? I know we could scrounge up something at the airport, but their offerings aren't great. Someone on this forum referred to that airport hotel area as an "industrial wasteland" so I don't have ...

Inaugural Flight from JFK - CDG Part 1 Last week, Air France flew its first Airbus A380 route from Paris to JFK and then back to Paris. As you know, Air France is the first European carrier to fly the A380. Instead of simply selling the tickets for the inaugural flights, Air France auctioned tickets via eBay and donated the majority, if not all, of the proceeds to several charities ...

With the new PIT / CDG service offered by DL , I was curious as to how crews and aircraft are rotated through DL 's system. PIT is not a crew domicile for DL (last I checked anyway), and CDG definitely isn't as well. Or, are crews and aircraft now based there exclusively for this service? Any info. would be great. Thanks!

This is the 2 nd part of my trip on Air France’s inaugural AirbusA380 flight from JFK to Paris. There were so many special aspects and features to this trip that I broke the post in two parts. The first part is HERE and covers the pre-departure festivities as well as the actual flight. The second part, below, will cover the arrival in Paris and focus more on the airplane itself. ...

I have an old Maytag CDG 806 Dryer that runs like a workhorse but the pilot shuts off every time I try to start the dryer. It stays lit and will continue to stay lit when on "air only" but when I put it on a heat setting, the pilot shuts off. Can anyone help? Hope it's not the gas valve but perhaps a sensor or something. Don't think it's a thermalcouple as the pilot stays lit when set and ...
