ccleaner&firefox I'm not an avid fan of ccleaner anymore, as my experience w\ ccleaner is it isn't infiltrating Firefox to delete the passwords like it used to? or do I need a trip to sing-sing? __________________ asus striker extreme/e6850/4g ddr2 800/8800gts640sli

Cookies - Win7 - CCleaner My cookies seem to disappear. I've moved the ones I want to keey to the "Saved" panel in CCleaner so it won't erase them. I've set IE8 to empty the temp files when closed. This seemed to work before but I'm having a problem with them staying put!

Your CCleaner is truly a fine program! I have been using it for a couple(?) of years - probably longer. One thing that I would like to see added to the Tools "uninstall" section: An window or information box that would appear when the mouse is moved over one of the program names (Or when it is clicked.). This information would point to the directory(s) location of the program files. I ...
We have several computers with the First Look Pro program and after installing CCleaner the First look pro program needed to be reinstalled and the install takes a lot of time. Is there a patch or workaround so the CCleaner program can be used or are the users out of luck ?

CCleaner has been Rated #1, for cleaning your PC of Debris, Tracking, Harddrive Space etc.. But it's NOT the best(that I have found) and other Software are in the same line. For People like me to whom would like to Protect their Privacy etc., I have found that CCleaner even when you use the "Secure File Deletion - 35x" setting that Data can be recovered using "Recuva", which means that if...

I am running Firefox and using CCleaner to manage my cookies. I have successfully set up my list of cookies to save. My problem is when I go to cookies in CCleaner it shows no cookies to delete but if I look at the cookie list in Firefox, there is a long list of cookies. How do I delete all of these cookies without deleting those cookies I want to keep?

CCleaner locks up when it gets to my recycle bin. I updated the program and it still locked up on the RB. I uninstalled the program, downloaded a fresh copy and reinstalled it. It still locks up at the RB. If I uncheck the RB...everything else works great. I'm running VISTA Ultimate on a laptop with AMD Turion 64x2, 2GB RAM, 1.7 Ghz processor. Thanks for any help you may render. Dr J...

Visit "find.pcworld.com/63930" My question is has/will CCleaner get these guys sooner , not later? What say you, Bill P? email address removed by moderator

Have a problem which is registry related. A backup REG file from CCleaner will not install, gives the following message: Cannot import c:\bla-bla-bla\cc_20090427.reg; Not all data was successfully written to the registry. Some keys are open by the system or other processes. Is there any way to FORCE this reg to install?
